Schools Gain Access to Students Facebook

Student make their social media accounts to connect with their friends and people all over the world. Many times, these accounts are not monitored by adults in any way shape or form. Today, schools are contemplating authority to access and monitor students’ social media accounts. The schools platform about this it that it will address issues like cyber-bullying and further protect students from Internet danger. In past years, schools all around the country have been having controversies over having students give their Facebook account passwords to the schools, giving them full access to everything on their Facebook. Certain schools had athletes suspended for inappropriate posting to their social media accounts after the school gained access to them. The school claims that if the school has “reasonable cause” to believe the account contains evidence that the student has violated the schools policy.
